Parliament Square
- Parliament Square was originally laid out in the 1840s to provide more open space for the new Houses of Parliament, todayit has become a busy traffic island bustling with tourists.
The square houses ten bronze sculptures of important Statesmen & other notable individuals including;
- Winston Churchill
- David Lloyd George
- Jan Smuts
- Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston
- Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield
- Sir Robert Peel
- George Canning
- Abraham Lincoln
- Nelson Mandela
- Mahatma Gandhi
